The Asana toolkit lets LLMs interact with Asana via Arcade, covering task management, project and team discovery, tagging, file attachments, and workspace navigation.
Capabilities
- Task lifecycle — create, retrieve, search, update, mark complete, and fetch subtasks; task creation auto-resolves workspace when only one exists.
- File attachments — attach files to tasks from raw text, base64-encoded binary content, or an external URL (exactly one source per call).
- Project & workspace navigation — list or look up workspaces, projects, and teams by ID; filter teams to only those the current user belongs to.
- People & tagging — list or retrieve users and tags; create new tags within a workspace.
- Contextual resolution — tools use authenticated-user context to scope results (e.g., visible workspaces, member teams).

This toolkit uses OAuth 2.0 via the Asana provider. See the Arcade Asana auth provider docs for setup instructions.
