Microsoft Word Toolkit
The Microsoft Word toolkit connects Arcade to OneDrive-hosted Word documents, enabling LLMs to create, read, and modify .docx files programmatically.
Capabilities
- Document creation: Create new Word documents in OneDrive with optional initial text content (4 MB upload limit).
- Document reading: Retrieve document metadata and/or full content; content is returned as Markdown by default; metadata-only mode available.
- Document editing: Append text to the end of existing
.docxfiles (4 MB limit). - User context: Fetch information about the authenticated user and their Microsoft Word/OneDrive environment.
OAuth
This toolkit uses OAuth 2.0 via the Microsoft provider. See the Arcade Microsoft auth provider docs for setup details.
